HEY EVERYONE!! Please sign this petition and stand with me as I fight to protect my sacred land.
On October 30th, the Hawaiʻi Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Thirty-Meter-Telescope (TMT) to be built on Mauna Kea; the most sacred place to the Hawaiian People. This has been an ongoing issue that Hawaiians and environmentalists have been trying to fight against for years. The construction of this telescope would destroy the land and disrupt our efforts of sovereignty in Hawai‘i. We respectfully ask for your support by informing others that this will be happening on campus, and to please sign the petition as well. If you are available to assist with the protest and stand with us at the SU, we would greatly appreciate that as well. Please stand in solidarity with us as we fight to protect our birthplace, Mauna Kea.
