
Pectoral of the God Osiris
This pectoral is depicting god Osiris flanked by goddess
Nephthys
on the right wearing “Deshret” the Red Crown of Lower Egypt and goddess Isis on the left, wearing “Hedjet” the White Crown of Upper Egypt. It was made from gold and inlaid with lapis lazuli, carnelian and other semi-precious stones.
Excavated from the Tomb of Tutankhamun (KV62). Valley of the Kings, West Thebes. Now in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo.
