Wanna know what I really want headcanons of?
What the batboys would be like with kids that play sports. Are they the coach? The parent that thinks they’re the coach? Do they just sit back and chill? What goes on there? lol
I think for the most part all of the Bat Boys would react in
a similar manor when it comes to having a sports kid. (I based these on the child playing a team
sport.)All of them:
*would try to attend as many games as they possible
could. If they had to miss one because of
work or a mission they would have their S/O video it so they could watch with
their kid later.*Any trophies their kids won would be placed in a place of
honor in their home.*Emphasizes the fun aspect of sports. Doesn’t want their kid to be stressed over an
optional activity*bragging about their kid’s achievements while remembering
that it is their kid’s achievement. Their
child’s athletic ability is not a reflection on them as a human being and
dislikes when other parents live vicariously through their children.Grampa Bruce:
* is also going to try and attend all the games he can if he
lives nearby. He will travel for important games or he will call after every
game to get all the details from the little athlete themselves.*quiet spectator, pays very close attention to the game.
*gives praise and a pat on the back win or lose. Will be accused of spoiling the grand kid with
affection by his children.Dick:
*Loudest parent at the game, in a good way. Shouting encouragement for his kid and the
other players as well. Will even cheer
for a good play by the opposing team because they are children and deserve to
be told they did a good job regardless of the team they’re on.*Encourages good sportsmanship. Teaches the kid how to be a good winner and
how not to be a sore loser. Tries very
hard to practice what he preaches though.
He does love a good victory.*Is a part of the car pool when possible, picking up and
dropping off kids for practice.Jason:
*Cheers for his kid and his kid’s team. That’s it.
*Death glares parents who heckle the kids no matter what
team they’re on and will cheer louder to drown them out.*Has broken up fights between parents or between parents and
coaches, refs and other people. He is
not having his child traumatized because someone wants to be an asshole.Tim:
*Assists the coaches by coming up with plays and drills for practice.
*Tries to focuses on what the child did well with during the
game instead of pointing out mistakes.*Doesn’t do car pool but does take the kids out for ice
cream after the games.*Knows the names of all the kids on the team.
Damian:
*Quiet during the games.
He watches intensely paying close attention to the strengths and
weaknesses of the opposing team.*Winds up taking on an assistant coaching position if his
schedule allows.*The other kids on the team are scared of him at first but
wind up loving him after a while.*Works hard to overcome the mindset that his child has to be
the best on the team. Tries to remember
this is a recreational activity for children and not the training he grew up
with.@singlecornchip THESE MAKE ME SO HAPPY!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! THIS SERIOUSLY MADE MY NIGHT! YOU ARE DA BEEEESSST!!!
