Batdad headcannons

– He will totally read stories to his children at night. It started with Dick and kept going. Cass loved to read to him once she started learning.

– He will attend school events. Like his calendar at WE is filled with their stuff. This includes Parent Teacher Conference, the back to school nights, and any activity they get involved in.

– There are pictures in his wallet of all of them. Even the children who aren’t legally his like Stephanie, Harper, and Barbara.

– When Duke first came into the family he was surprised at how involved Bruce was. Like he even showed up to his parent teacher conference to make sure Duke was doing okay in school.

– Their drawings get hung up on the fridge. They might now be the best but it doesn’t matter. Damian likes to brag that his far exceeds the rest of them.

– Him and Alfred totally rock the co-parenting. Like one is always around when needed.

– Massive bragging to not only his co-workers but also other heroes. Superman has dubed it Batdad bragging. He has no shame in telling others how great his children are.

– Still sees them all as the little kids he adopted.

– Goes to Selina and Kate for advice on how to deal with daughters.

– Dealt with a lot of angst from their teenage years. Like teenage rebellion is not new to this man.

– Alfred is dreading the day Damian wants to leave the manor because empty nest will not be good.

– Doesn’t like random woman spending the night when any of the children were young because he doesn’t like the children having that example.

– Not ashamed to go buy tampons and other stuff for all the girls.

– Extremely protective of when anyone makes negative comments towards them. Like someone made a stupid comment once about Stephanie having a teen pregnancy and you bet he went off on them. Batdad temper is a thing.

– Whenever he sees his children happy then he knows he must be doing something right.
